DONATION has customized features and receipts for the U.S.A., Canada (including Quebec), and to a more limited extent Australia. Users in some other countries have also experienced success with the program.
DONATION has been available since 1999, and the program has been steadily improved since then. There are over 4,000 registered users of the program.
Pricing
Your initial purchase of a full license for DONATION entitles you to support and upgrades for one year. The prices are:
- $60 for users with under 200 donors
- $90 for users with under 500 donors
- $110 for users with 500 or more donors
- $110 per simultaneous user for the Network Version
- free if your organization is very small and satisfies some strict criteria (see below)
You may install DONATION on multiple computers for just the one license fee, as long as it is for the same organization.
You can renew your eligibility for support and upgrades in subsequent years for an annual renewal fee, which is one half of the corresponding full license fee, for the number of donors you have at that time.
Why Choose DONATION ?
For many small to mid-size charities and churches, DONATION does everything you really need your donation-tracking program to do. Why pay 2, 5, 10 or even 100 times the price for a program with features you won't use? DONATION is extremely easy for you to learn and use, because 90% of what you will do with it is on its main window - no tab folders, no popup windows. Entry of donors and donations (which is, after all, the main point) is fast and easy - you don't even have to use your mouse!
Of course, you can do much more with DONATION:
- Generate tax receipts in accordance with American IRS and Canadian CRA requirements.
- Print over 30 built-in reports, or custom reports.
- Mail merge letters, one at a time, or all at once.

Free Licenses
You may have a free license to use DONATION if your organization satisifies ALL FOUR of the following criteria:
- Your organization's annual total income from donations and other sources of funding is under $5,000;
AND - You have fewer than 50 donors;
AND - No paid staff will be regularly using DONATION;
AND - You agree that if any of these conditions changes, you will pay for your use of DONATION.
Please do not ask for exceptions to these criteria.
