BACKING UP EASYWORSHIP SONGS or MOVING EASYWORSHIP SONGS to ANOTHER COMPUTER

2. Open the Local Disk C:
3. Open the Program Files folder.
4. Open the Softouch folder.
5. Open the Easyworship Folder.
6. Right click on the Data folder and select Copy.
7. Now minimize the Window that you have open and right click the Windows desktop and select Paste.
8. You will now have a copy of your Data folder on your desktop. You can also burn a copy of the Data folder to a CD using your CD burning software, or copy the Data folder to a USB key.
9. You can also backup your Image and Videos folder which are located in the default path c:\program files\softouch\easyworship\resources by copying the entire resources folder to a USB key or burning it to a CD.
To copy your data to another computer:

4. This will replace the existing Data folder and any songs on this machine with the ones in the Data folder that you copied from the other machine.
METHOD 2: How do I transfer my songs from one computer to another?
All the data is stored in the data directory off of the EasyWorship installation directory. Usually C:Program Files/Softouch/EasyWorship or My Computer/C Drive/Program Files/Softouch/EasyWorship.
Note: This procedure will overwrite the database on the computer you are transfering your database to.
1. Open the Data folder on the old computer normally in c:\program files\softouch\EasyWorship.
2. Copy all of the files named songs.* and songkeys.* to a CD or USB memory stick. (There will be 9 sometimes 10 files)
3. On the new computer Copy the songs* and songkeys* files to c:\program files\softouch\EasyWorship\data.
4. Click yes to all to overwrite the files that are already there.
Note: If you are transfering a database from and older version of EasyWorship to a newer version, delete the version.dat file. then go to step 5.
5. Open EasyWorship.
When you open EasyWorship back up, your songs from the old computer will be available in EasyWorship on the new computer.
This will only transfer your songs from one computer to another. You will need to transfer any backgrounds or videos that don't show up to the new computer manually.
